Cap3 Subscription Passes have been available during our open enrollment period. Open enrollment was our public mint which had no restrictions and didn’t require a referral or an invitation. Beginning February 15, 2023, prospective Subscription Pass minters will need a referral from an existing member or a Cap3 MultiPass which functions as an invitation. Public minting will end, and membership will only be available via a referral or an invitation.
What’s the Purpose of the MultiPass?
The MultiPass was created to make certain Cap3 has a large enough community to mint out our funded projects. The mission of Cap3 is not only to provide funding, but also to provide a community that can support the projects we fund.
This decision was born when we decided to select the first funded project BEFORE the Cap3 Tier 1 Subscription Pass mint sells out. We didn’t have the members necessary to properly support a funded project, so we needed a way to expand our community. By adding an additional 200,000 passes, the Cap3 community will be large enough to acquire all the tokens of a project without having to rely on a public mint. This valuable support benefits founders by providing an existing community of purchases, it also benefits our members as our community can control the entire collection of our funded projects. Far too frequently the floor price of new projects suffers as winners of giveaways undercut each other and the mint price in order to monetize their gifts. Cap3 member’s holdings in funded projects have a better chance of appreciation by eliminating the raffle winners, flippers, snipers, scalpers, and paper hands that come from public mints.
We recognize that Cap3 is an expensive project. We wanted to provide a product that adds value to its holders, but only if it supports our main mission of funding worthy projects. Over the course of the past few months, Cap3 has sent out multiple airdrops to over 25 communities. These airdrops include invitations to apply for a Genesis membership, discord passes, invitations to mint a subscription pass, whitelist notifications. In all, over 200,000 airdrops have been sent to date. We thought these airdrops could be the basis for a new FREE pass that would have multiple levels of utility – a MultiPass.
All previous airdrops will have the chance to be redeemed for a free MultiPass. After the MultiPass redemption date has passed, then we’ll begin the free mint of those remaining passes to supporters that won raffles, contests, and quests. Each wallet will receive one pass. If additional passes are wanted, they can be earned in the Cap3 Community Rewards contest.
What Benefits does the MultiPass Provide?
The Cap3 MultiPass offers holders the following benefits

The Multi-Pass is THE INVITATION needed to mint a Subscription Pass if you don’t have a referral
Access to the public area of the Cap3 Discord
Access to the Merch Store
Auto whitelisting with a minimum 20% discount on all Cap3 funded projects that are under subscribed by Cap3 Genesis and Subscription holders
Holders of the MultiPass also get to participate in the selection of the first Cap3 funded project.
How Do I get a MultiPass?
A – Redeem
Cap3 has airdropped invitations for membership, discord passes, and mint invitations to select Web3 communities. Holders of these airdropped tokens can redeem them for a MultiPass. The redemption period will end on Feb 15th(target +/-). Holders of the MultiPass can keep the token and be rewarded with its utility, or they may sell the MultiPass on Opensea to those seeking an invitation to purchase a Subscription or to receive the whitelist benefits the MultiPass provides.
B – Free Mint
Cap3 will start raffles and contests for the free mint beginning January 23th. One MultiPass per wallet address will be available for airdrop or free mint. Additional MultiPasses will be given out as rewards in our Community Rewards contest which will commence Feb 15th (target +/-).
Why Join Cap3 if the MultiPass offers whitelist and discounts on funded projects?
The MultiPass offers many benefits, however it doesn’t offer revenue sharing. Revenue sharing is only for Genesis and Subscription Pass holders. Also, Genesis and Subscription Pass holders have the first opportunity to purchase funded project’s digital assets. MultiPass holders have access ONLY if Genesis and Subscription Pass holders don’t purchase all of the project.
