Description

ILLEST MOTOVERSE is a web 3.0 collaboration program bringing the motor heads in to the metaverse. The project will feature 4 animated rim collection NFTs, with a circulation of 3,333 in total.

Illest is a lifestyle brand with roots from streetwear and car culture communities, with street cred that is recognized all over the world. From the Bay Area and Los Angeles in California, to Tokyo, Seoul, and Manila in South East Asia. We the Illest celebrate community through creative expressions by producing amazing car projects and collaborating with talented artists and creators, as well as other brands in the scene. Collaborations include projects with Jo Koy, Beats By Dre, Hoonigan, G-Shock, Bearbrick, Transformers, Naruto, among others. Most recently, we made the reveal trailer for the upcoming Need for Speed Unbound videogame.

Who’s Behind This Project
Illest HQ based in San Franciso and Los Angeles decided to start this global initiative with Jon Herrera, Illest Motorverse founder. Herrera, who is no stranger to Illest, is the lead on this project and is in charge of developing the best way to contribute back to the community through our web3play. Bringing Illest founder Mark Arcenal to Manila 15 years ago, Jon expanded the footprint with the team.

Illest founder, Mark Arcenal, is a sneakerhead and a legend in the car culture scene. He started Fatlace in 1999 – a blog that feature the newest and coolest sneakers and cars around. He then launched his apparel brand Illest, which is slang for “The Best,” taking inspiration from his never-ending search for the pinnacle in footwear and car customization. Illest has since then become the most recognizable streetwear brand among car enthusiasts and sneakerheads. Illest enjoys the same cred among people in the sneakerhead community and car culture, while steadily gaining traction in sports and other fields where people aim to be nothing but the best. In terms of the quality of the product itself, Illest is primarily known for breathable crewnecks that feature simple graphic hits. Other collections include headwear and cut-and-sew garments like shirting and bottoms. The brand has become one of the most sought-after brands that cater to an audience looking for more than just a label. Illest a lifestyle.
