We believe that a PFP project can be art. Synonyms is a colorful, design-influenced 5k art project that happens to be a pfp project.
Using a set of minimalist shapes reminiscent of the colorful building blocks from our childhood paired with a spectrum of unique character traits and personalities, Synonyms become a playful world with endless possibilities.
Synonyms is the first nft project from Big Hugs Studios, a partnership between artist Christopher David Ryan and creative entrepreneur Jeff Excell, focused on the exploration and development of art-forward projects within the web3 space and beyond.
We wanted to make available design elements that we haven’t seen before in web3. Our hope is that people take these minimalist shapes and run with them, create with them, and add to them.
The aim is to broaden the horizon for what people can consider a pfp collection as well as give people the inspiration and materials to help expand the Synonyms universe along side us.
