F1 team picks Velas as official NFT partner for 2022

As the partnership extends across all its racing divisions, Ferrari is making a big bet on NFTs.Luxury automaker Ferrari has made big announcements for 2022. Thanks to its multi-year contract with Velas, the luxury Italian auto manufacturer will inject an NFT twist into its upcoming racing season for 2022.

Velas, a Swiss technology firm,expert in creating digital products and services,announced that Ferrari NFT’s are in good hands and will make sure to give the best of the attempts to make a hit worldwide.

The digital company and Ferrari both showed racing excellence and the world of icons when looking at a partner. Mattia Binotto, Scuderia Ferrari’s general manager and team principal, shared similar values between the two brands.

As per the announcements, “We are pleased to start this collaboration with Velas Network AG. A company that makes innovation and performance the hallmark of technologically advanced products and services. These are all values that unite us and that led us to choose Velas as one of our Premium Partners.”

In addition, Velas will be Title Sponsor of the Ferrari Esports Series, the online mono-brand series of the Prancing Horse, and of the Esports team that will compete in the F1 Esports Series, the official digital championship competed in by all teams participating in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship,” Ferrari said in a statement.
